Shaped by Change

My path has been shaped by change. At age 12, I moved from Weimar to West Germany in 1987 – my first major system transition. This experience taught me to quickly adapt to new realities.

When the digital world awakened in 1995, I was there early. I wrote my diploma thesis in 2001 about mobile services, long before the iPhone changed the market. In the pioneer years of the first digital agencies, I experienced firsthand how hype emerges and fades.

In 2003, I took the leap into self-employment. With my team, I consulted major telecommunications companies and mid-sized businesses on online marketing. After several years, I was drawn to Spain for personal and professional development. I simply took my small agency with me to build a business there in a new language and culture.

Right in the Middle of It

In 2012, Martin and I founded Qubidu. We develop software solutions for mid-sized businesses, and for some time now, almost everything here revolves around AI. So I’m not just on the consulting side – I’m right in the middle of it myself.

In various interim management roles, I put out fires and earned the trust of entrepreneurs. As a speaker on technology trends, I regularly shared my perspective on future developments.

Enabler

I used to be the doer who implemented with his team. Today, I’m the enabler who empowers. I ask questions. Many questions. Until clarity emerges. My goal isn’t to tell you what to do. My goal is for you to recognize it yourself.
