Who am I?
Driven by the search for clarity. For myself. And for others.
Almost 30 years of digitalization, processes, AI. But that's not the point.
Shaped by change.
My path was shaped by change. At 12, in 1987, I moved from Weimar to West Germany — my first major system change. That experience taught me to adapt quickly to new realities.
When the digital world awoke in 1995, I was there early. I wrote my thesis in 2001 on mobile services, long before the iPhone changed the market. In the pioneer years of the first digital agencies, I witnessed up close how hype emerges and fades.
In 2003 I made the leap into self-employment. With my team I advised large telecommunications companies and the German mid-market on online marketing. After a few years I went to Spain — privately and for personal development. I simply took my small agency with me, to build a company in a new language and culture.
In the middle of it.
Not just an advisor, but a co-entrepreneur.
In 2012 Martin and I founded Qubidu. We build software solutions for mid-market companies, and for some time now almost everything revolves around AI. So I don't only sit on the consultant's side — I'm in the middle of it myself.
In various interim management roles I have put out fires and earned the trust of entrepreneurs. As a speaker on technology trends I regularly share my view on future developments.
I used to be the doer who executes with the team. Today I'm the enabler who empowers.
I ask questions. Many questions. Until clarity emerges.
My goal is not to tell you what to do. My goal is for you to recognize it yourself.
